High-ranking officials from Ghana and the Deputy Minister of Education of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education, Mr. Bagheri Fard, met to discuss cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, the Deputy Minister highlighted the scientific capabilities of the Iran University of Medical Sciences and expressed interest in a joint project between the two nations. The Ghanaian side expressed appreciation for Iran's hospitality and its approach towards Africa.

Additionally, the officials agreed to expedite the establishment of a branch of the Iran University of Medical Sciences in Ghana with the assistance of the Ghanaian government.
