The Public Relations Department of the School of Medicine at the Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS) reports that a significant meeting was convened on November 19, 2025, focused on the accreditation of the MBBS program. This meeting brought together the Area 6 General Medicine Accreditation Working Group and representatives from the University’s International Vice President.

During the session, participants reviewed the accreditation standards for both the General Medicine and MBBS courses. Collaborative planning was initiated to implement necessary corrective measures aimed at enhancing the quality and compliance of the programs.
