The ceremony of the "Quranic Meeting" was held on Thursday, Apr. 06, 2023, from 17:00 to 21:00 at Razi Conference Center of the University along with various cultural and sports programs with the participation of around 330 international students of Iran, Tehran, and Shahid Beheshti medical science universities.

In this program, attended Dr. Niknam, the International Deputy of the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, Dr. Abdul Reza Pazouki, the President of the Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS), Dr. Amir Amirkhani, the Acting International Deputy of the Ministry of Health, and Dr. Mehdi Moghtadaei, the IUMS Vice President for International Affairs, several university officials, and international reciters and memorizers of the Holy Quran, which created a spiritual and enlightening atmosphere.

Welcoming the international students, Dr. Niknam delivered a brief speech, and thereafter, the reciters started reciting some verses of the Holy Quran. After listening to the evening Aazan and saying prayers, the participants broke their fast, and then the second part of the ceremony started with playing some sports. The ceremony ended with serving dinner to the participants.
