A specialized meeting of the Iran University of Medical Sciences was held to review and address challenges facing the university's branch in Ghana, facilitate access to scientific and library resources for students and managers, and expand international collaborations, concluding with key resolutions. During the session, removing communication and digital barriers for students stationed in Ghana was discussed as a top priority, and relevant officials are determined to provide necessary facilities for Ghanaian students. Key approved measures in this meeting included providing full access to the digital and virtual library—comprising theses and scientific resources—as well as creating direct access links on the university's English website and the International Affairs portal. Furthermore, it was decided that the Central Library would announce the precise mechanism for accessing databases via ticketing and email requests. In the field of introducing university capacities and expanding media activities, reviewing and finalizing the university promotional teaser, as well as producing an introductory video for selected professors dispatched to Ghana, were placed on the Public Relations agenda. Additionally, given the importance of developing medical tourism, creating a specialized Health Tourism section on the International Affairs websites and introducing at least three affiliated hospitals with high capacities in this field were among the other key areas that will be implemented in collaboration with relevant managers. At the end of the meeting, it was emphasized that all involved officials, while maintaining continuous follow-up, should report the results of their actions to the International Affairs department to further pave the way for the university's educational, research, and international development activities.
