University Leaders Collaborate to Enhance Int'l Accreditation Efforts
Assessment of Institutional Accreditation at Iran University of Medical Sciences
A meeting focused on assessing the institutional accreditation of Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS) was held on Saturday, November 8, 2025. The event brought together the Vice President for International Affairs, the Vice President for Education, and the deans of the university's faculties, educational centers, and medical centers to discuss strategies for enhancing the university's accreditation status in the international arena.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Vice President for International Affairs, this meeting aimed to coordinate and prepare the university's educational framework in anticipation of the new academic year. It also addressed the need for conducting an external evaluation to attract international students.
Dr. Mehdi Moghtadaei, the Vice President for International Affairs, presented a report highlighting the key activities and programs of the International Office. He emphasized the importance of thorough preparation for the upcoming accreditation process to achieve the highest possible evaluation score. Following his presentation, the Vice President for Education, along with the deans of faculties and medical centers, engaged in discussions to exchange ideas and strategies related to this critical initiative.
