IUMS Readiness for Cooperation with Syria in Medical Education
Dr. Abdolreza Pazouki, the President of Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS) announced readiness to collaborate with medical institutions in Syria. He highlighted Iran's achievements in medicine despite sanctions and expressed willingness to strengthen medical fields in Syria.
Fadia Yousef Dib, the Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Syria, acknowledged IUMS's global position and proposed joint efforts in organizing an international conference and enhancing doctoral defenses.
Dr. Masoud Maleki Birjandi, the IUMS Deputy of Vice President for International Affairs, emphasized Iran's progress in medicine and IUMS's role as Iran's representative in Syria.
