The White Coat Ceremony for IUMS international students was held at ‘Hazrat Rasoul Hospital.’

According to the report of the Student and Cultural Deputy of the Vice President for International Affairs, the white coat ceremony of the first-year international medical students was held in the presence of Dr. Moghtadaei, the Vice President for International Affairs, and Dr. Mortazavi, the Student and Cultural Deputy, on May 20, 2023.

At the beginning of this ceremony, Dr. Moghtadaei welcomed new medical students at White Coat Ceremony and pointed out the advantages of launching an international unit at ‘Hazrat Rasoul Hospital’, and considered it as an opportunity for the students to orient themselves to the hospital environment before actually entering the clinical field.

Then, Dr. Mortazavi discussed the significance of the doctors’ role in society and explained the concept of wearing a white coat for medical students.

All first-year students were granted a white coat in this ceremony.
