On October 29, 2024, the Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS) celebrated the opening of its Advanced Clinical Training Center (ACTC) branch in Ghana, located at the Islamic University of Ghana. The event was graced by Mr. Bijan Gerami, Ambassador and Cultural Advisor of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Ghana, along with esteemed professors, the honorable President of the Islamic University of Ghana, and Dr. Masoud Maleki Birjandi, representative of the International Vice President of Iran University of Medical Sciences.

During the ceremony, Dr. Maleki delivered a speech detailing the inception of the ACTC, the implementation process of the project, and the capabilities of Iran University of Medical Sciences. He also provided an update on the progress made toward achieving the center's objectives.

Following the speeches, the official opening of the center was conducted by Ambassador Gerami and Dr. Maleki, after which attendees had the opportunity to tour the facility.
