The esteemed Sri Lankan Ambassador to Tehran met with Dr. Moghtadaei, the IUMS Vice President for International Affairs, and his Deputy, Dr. Maleki, the Director of International Relations Development, at the Office of Vice President for International Affairs of Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS) on Feb. 21, 2023.

In this meeting, the Dr. Moghtadaei and Dr. Maleki introduced the university, stating the existing potentials and capacities of the university for admission of International students.

While expressing his satisfaction with this meeting, the Ambassador of Sri Lanka, demanded to expand cooperation with Iran University of Medical Sciences in the field of recruiting students from Sri Lanka in medicine (GP). He also announced his readiness to speed up the registration process of the Iran University of Medical Sciences by the Organization of the Medical System in Sri Lanka.

He also asked the IUMS officials to hold short-term courses in geriatric nursing fields, and the two parties agreed that the IUMS officials will subsequently prepare all the respective information and send it to Sri Lanka so as to conclude a memorandum of understanding in this regard.
