IUMS Recruits 1st Research-Oriented Int’l Student at Health Promotion RC
The Health Promotion Research Center at Iran University of Medical Sciences has announced the recruitment of its first international student for specialized doctorate research in 2022. The center has also recruited four other students this academic year, and the process of accepting four more research-oriented foreign students in the fields of Health Economics and Health Management is currently underway.
According to the head of the Health Promotion Research Center, last year, the center recruited its first international student with a research-oriented PhD in the field of policy-making in the health system from Iraq.
Dr. Farbod Ebadi Azar, the head of the Health Promotion Research Center, stated that research-oriented students participate in research method training courses and attend some educational doctorate classes in addition to their specialized research, which prepares them to be more effective in their countries after graduation.
In the First Internationalization Festival of Iran University of Medical Sciences held on June 13, 2023, the Health Promotion Research Center was awarded for facilitating the process of recruiting students at the specialized research-oriented doctorate level.
