In a significant academic event, the inaugural short-term course on "Special Pediatric Nursing" was conducted, featuring the participation of over 60 esteemed nurses and doctors from Ghana. This course was hosted by Islamic University College in collaboration with the branch of Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS) at the Islamic University of Ghana in Accra.
Spanning two days, the course aimed to enhance the specialized competencies of nurses in the domain of pediatric care. It represented a substantial advancement in empowering the Ghanaian nursing workforce by offering comprehensive practical training, live simulations, real hospital scenarios, and exposure to the latest pediatric monitoring and treatment technologies.

A notable highlight of this event was the active collaboration between distinguished Iranian and Ghanaian professors throughout the training process. This collaboration effectively combined the exportation of knowledge with localized educational components, thereby amplifying the course's impact.
The presence of Dr. Ali Manafi Anari, a pediatric intensive care fellow and a leading authority in pediatric diseases, further augmented the scientific credibility of the program. His lectures and specialized teachings provided invaluable insights, significantly enhancing the participants' knowledge base.

This training program received official accreditation from the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) and was licensed by the Ghanaian nursing system, reflecting the high level of trust that Ghanaian specialized institutions place in the scientific and operational quality of the course.
Upon completion, participants were awarded a joint certificate from Iran University of Medical Sciences and Islamic University College. This certification underscores the professional value and academic standing of the course.
