In order to expand educational and scientific collaborations, a meeting was held with the educational-scientific liaison of Turkey at the Office of the Vice President for International Affairs of Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS).

According to the Public Relations of the International Affairs Office, on February 17, 2024, a meeting was held at the Office of the Vice President for International Affairs. Dr. Omid Bashar, Turkey's educational-scientific liaison, focused on educational and scientific collaborations. This meeting, attended by Dr. Mehdi Moghtadaei, the IUMS Vice President for International Affairs and Head of the International Campus, Dr. Masoud Maleki Birjandi, the IUMS Deputy Vice President and Director of International Relations Development, along with experts from the office, discussed and reviewed the expansion of academic relations between Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS) and universities in Turkey as one of the university's goals in 2024-25.
