4th University Internationalization Festival Held Honoring Top Performers and Key Contributors
The 4th University Internationalization Festival was held, attended by university deputies, directors, faculty members, and officials, to honor those who have excelled and played a significant role in the university's internationalization efforts.
The festival aimed to promote and institutionalize the culture of internationalization, identify the capabilities and achievements of various units, and recognize individuals and groups leading the expansion of international activities.
During the ceremony, Dr. Moghtadaei, the University’s Deputy for International Affairs, outlined the progress of international activities. He emphasized the importance of a strategic and systematic approach to internationalization and the necessity of participation from all sectors of the university in this endeavor. Attention was also drawn to the university's capabilities in international education, research and technology, the development of academic collaborations, the recruitment and support of international students, and engagement with international organizations and institutions.
Performance evaluations for units and individuals were conducted based on a set of established indicators across various areas of internationalization, with a review of the participants' activities, initiatives, and achievements.
Based on the evaluation results, outstanding units, departments, faculty members, and staff were recognized and presented with certificates of appreciation. Additionally, appreciation was extended to individuals and entities outside the university whose effective cooperation and support played a vital role in implementing programs and achieving the university's internationalization goals.
Subsequently, Dr. Jafarnejad, the University’s Deputy for Education, emphasized the need to continue the path of internationalization with a purposeful approach focused on developing sustainable international collaborations.
