The first meeting of the recruitment agents for international students was held on January 27, 2024, in the Office of the Vice President for International Affairs at Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS).

The session aimed to increase cooperation between the agents and the university, as well as to utilize their several years of experience in editing and drafting the cooperation guidelines of the agents, aligning the conditions and capabilities of the agents, creating a positive competitive environment among the agents, developing scientific diplomacy through the acceptance of applicants from other countries (non-Iranian), and broader coverage of the target market.

The meeting also addressed issues and problems in the admission process, and solutions were proposed by the agents. Furthermore, the university's regulations, rules, and bylaws were communicated to all participating companies.
