A memorandum of understanding was signed for scientific, educational, and research cooperation with Watan Hospital in Kabul, Afghanistan, aimed at recruiting and exchanging students and collaborating on organizing educational workshops.

The memorandum of cooperation between Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS) and Watan Hospital in Kabul, Afghanistan, was signed in the presence of Dr. Moghtadaei, the IUMS Vice President for International Affairs, Dr. Masoud Maleki Birjandi, the IUMS Deputy Vice President for International Affairs, and Dr. Mohammad Nasser Mohaqiq, the Head of Watan Hospital on February 5, 2024, at the IUMS Office of Vice President for International Affairs.

Additionally, virtual negotiations were held with the executive staff of Watan Hospital regarding educational and medical facilities.

By signing this memorandum of understanding, a framework for extensive cooperation with Afghanistan has been established, which will hopefully expand scientific cooperation between the two countries.
