Responsibilities

The Office of Research Affairs is responsible for ensuring that faculty and students have the resources they need to excel in research and innovation. Our mission is to support, facilitate and promote world-class research at IUMS through:
 

• -Optimizing services to compete and secure grants / scholarships for research projects
• -Building research collaborations and partnerships with other institutions and industry
• -Supporting the next generation of researchers in our classrooms and labs
• -Management of administrative and regulatory processes regarding student thesis and dissertation defense through university committees
