The welcoming ceremony for new international students at Iran University of Medical Sciences aimed to familiarize them with the university's educational and disciplinary regulations and to create a sense of unity and enthusiasm among the students.

According to the Cultural-Student Deputy of the International Campus, the event took place on Saturday, Dec. 02, 2023, with the enthusiastic presence of new international students, university officials, and heads. The ceremony included the screening of a video related to Fatimiyya, the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, and the national anthems of various countries. Dr. Moghtadaei, the head of the International Campus, emphasized the importance of the medical field, the necessity of unity and cultural exchange among nations, and wished the students success.

Furthermore, Dr. Yaser Al-Hajjaj, the cultural attaché of Iraq, delivered a speech in Arabic, congratulating the students and emphasizing the importance of studying, portraying the students as the future builders of their country. Dr. Eftekhari, the educational deputy of the International Campus, congratulated the students on their acceptance to the university and provided information on educational regulations, introducing responsible experts for each campus.

The ceremony continued with the screening of disciplinary videos, a domino competition, a performance by the Sorna music group, and recognition of outstanding academic achievers, concluding the event.
