The new building for international students was inaugurated and put into operation on the eve of the start of the second semester, with the presence of the university president, vice president for international affairs, deputy for international vice president, some members of the board of directors, senior managers, international campus staff, as well as engineers and staff of the project.

Welcoming the participants to the opening ceremony, Dr. Mehdi Moghtadaei, the Vice President for International Affairs and President of the International Campus of Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS), first provided details about the start and completion of the project, as well as the collaboration of this deputy with the university's technical office and the project's implementation process.

Then, Dr. Abdolreza Pazouki, the IUMS President, emphasized that the opening of this building was a collective effort to meet the needs of the International Deputy in line with the scientific capacity of the university.

Furthermore, Dr. Sajedeh Riyazi, the IUMS Vice President for Development Management and Human Resources, noted that the construction of the new building for international students, completed in 4 months, was the result of appropriate goal-setting in internationalizing the university, achieved through collaboration.

At the end of the ceremony, the staff involved in the construction and operation of the new Educational Complex of the International Campus were appreciated by the university president and the International Vice President.

The new building for international students at Iran University of Medical Sciences, with an area of 2050 square meters and two floors, includes 9 classrooms, a sports hall, and 6 administrative rooms. It was constructed by the efforts of the International Deputy at the university campus and has now been put into operation.
