English Language Proficiency Test for Int'l Students
For the first time, in conjunction with the start of the new academic year, Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS) is conducting the English Language Proficiency Test for international students.
Organized by the Office of the Vice President for International Affairs at Iran University of Medical Sciences, the decision to administer the English Language Proficiency Test stems from the various challenges international students face in communicating with professors due to their limited familiarity with Persian and English languages. This initiative aims to enhance the quality of education for international students. The test was held on April 15, 2024, at the educational building following an orientation session where students were briefed on the university's educational regulations in the presence of the Deputy of Education from the Office of International Affairs.
It is noteworthy that introductory Persian language instruction has been incorporated alongside English for these students. The Persian language course is conducted by instructors certified by the Saadi Foundation.
