On June 19, 2024, a meeting was held between Dr. Moghtadaei, Vice President for International Affairs and President of the International Campus of the Iran University of Medical Sciences, and Dr. Zaid Al-Abd Al-Rasool, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Al-Muthanna University, Iraq.

The purpose of the meeting was to establish a memorandum of understanding and cooperation in the field of specialized medical courses between the two universities.

This new partnership aims to foster academic and research collaboration in specialized medical education between Iran University of Medical Sciences and Al-Muthanna University in Iraq.
