The Vice President for International Affairs and the Head of the International Campus at Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS) stated: In line with internationalization and aligning education programs with the requests of neighboring countries, the university is considering offering the physiopathology course and conducting its exams in English.

During a meeting with the directors of the educational department of the School of Medicine, Dr. Mehdi Moghtadaei emphasized that internationalization is one of the main policies of the university. He stated: The acceptance of foreign students is based on their compliance with educational standards and is done by admission committees in each school, ensuring the quality of the candidates.

The Vice President of International Affairs further explained: To enhance internationalization and better align the educational programs with the requests of neighboring countries, the university has focused on organizing a physiopathology course and conducting its exams in English. Achieving this goal requires the cooperation of professors in the first and second laboratory courses (Matab I and II).

Moghtadaei added: International students pursuing specialized and sub-specialized degrees receive a temporary registration number from the Medical Council of Iran while completing supplementary courses. They are subject to the laws of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education and will return to their home country after completing their studies.
