During the visit of high-ranking officials from Ghana to Moheb Kosar Hospital, the parties discussed Ghana's Ministry of Health's serious determination to send patients to Iran for treatment. The officials then discussed the treatment of non-Iranian patients in the International Patient Department (IPD).

The Ghanaian delegation also visited Shahid Motahari Hospital, the School of Nursing and Midwifery, and the School of Pharmacy of the Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS).
