This health center was established in 1975 with the name of “The Hospital of Notre Dame de Fatima” and started its activities with the emergency ward and hospital clinics. In 1978, internal, surgical, pediatrics, obstetrics, and administrative departments were established by staff affiliated to the UK government and Iranians graduated from UK universities. With the victory of the Islamic Revolution in 1979, its name was changed to Hazrat-e Fatemeh Hospital and its management was handed over to Iranian staff. Since 1981, the hospital was promoted to a subspecialty reconstructive and plastic surgery center. It is currently one of the oldest and largest subspecialty centers in Iran where more than 12,000 people are annually admitted and undergo elective and emergency surgeries.

Hazrat-e Fatemeh Educational-Therapeutic Center is a provider of subspecialty services in the field of reconstruction and plastic surgery in Iran and region employing the most advanced medical equipment and modern therapeutic methods thanks to its experienced and capable staff as the most key assets of the center to increase life expectancy in the community.
