Vice Chancellor for Research & Technology
The Vice Chancellor for Research and Technology includes subordinate directorates in charge of research, medical statistics and information providing, the central library, publications and printing house, relationship with industry, student research committee, health development centre, comprehensive laboratory research and growth and reproduction of animals. This office is responsible for providing the grounds for research work, supplying scientific productions and expansions of scientific ties with other academic institutions. All these activities are designed with the cooperation of all departments, associated schools, and research centres, within the long-term research plan of the university. This office is also responsible for:
- Conducting different research-oriented educational courses and supervising the cycle of proposed research plans through drawing up the related contracts
- Supplying and distributing both printing and digital scientific resources
- assisting with holding scientific conferences and facilitating the participation of faculty members
- Estabilishing scientific relations with foreign centres, and expanding of the university's computer network.
